WE HAVE CLOSED.

It was a very sad day for me on Friday because I closed the door for the last time.

Some of you might remember that one week after I opened the food trailer we went into lock down. It has been a struggle to keep the doors open during the last 9 months. I have sold my motorbike, My boat, all my musical instruments and borrowed more money than I should have. I have received no government support throughout covid because I was a new business and didn't qualify. Finally it was all too much.

I made the decision to close because I can't see a light at the end of the tunnel. The cost of produce has increased up to 400% in some cases and it can't be passed on to you guys. Wages have just gone up, Super is going up again and I received a notice of an increase in electricity and gas of nearly 15%. I will not be the only business to close due to these increases.

Anyhoo.... I just want to say thankyou to everyone who supported me during these last 9 months. I have to say, I never expected to get such delight from people enjoying my food. It's the main reason I kept going. Hearing someone say how much they liked the meal they just had was very special to me.

I have approached the whole challenge with a sense of humour from the beginning because I wanted people to have a smile on their face before they tried my food. I think food is always enjoyed more when we are happy. So I did get to see a lot of smiles when people read my menus and a lot of happy conversation at tables when discussing it. I will miss that.

I WILL MISS MY STAFF. You guys have been awesome.

Ava, you will rule the world one day I am sure. If not then some other huge entity. Your maturity and wisdom is far beyond your years. Its hard to believe someone your age could have such a huge impact on someone's circumstances. I owe you so much. Thank you

Jaida, I saw you grow and accomplish things that you didn't believe you could. I hope you will take that away from your time with us, grab life by the horns and show it how strong you can be. You are a tough little bu**er.

Max, Amy, Liz, Brianna, Tahlia, Taya, Elly, you all were a part of something I will always remember. Thankyou.

Blossom, Thank you. You gave so much time and support, there is so much that wouldn't have been done if not for you. I hope you can find far bigger an better things in the near future.

Hi Everyone. Just a quick note regarding home deliveries.
We have made the decision to stop delivering ourselves and to only go through 3rd party services. Over the lasf month or so I have been doing the deliveries myself and have pretty much ground myself into a semi conscious grump machine. So...

You can choose Uber, Deliveroo, Doordash or Menulog and will find our full menu on them. The link from our website is for Uber as they have a better track record for faster deliveries than the others..

I realise this takes away the personal touch but its the best way to go for the future. This also means we will not be doing home deliveries for phone orders. Apologies to everyone that may be inconvenienced by this decision.

Oh, and our Wagyu Dirty Burger, Holy Schnitt Giant Schnitty and famous "Interigator" Double Egg & Bacon Rolls are also available for home delivery now.

Our First Vegan Dish!

Another addition to the Spicy Tomato Penne. A simple vegan option in a mild or spicy Tomato Italian/Asian fusion sauce with mixed fresh vegetables and Penne Pasta. If you want it mild, spicy or Extra spicy. And if you don't want it spicy at all .... well.... Just suck it up and have it spicy.

Please note .... There are no actual vegans in this dish ô¿ô

At Alfredo's, our food is a bit different than elsewhere. Our Toasties are OUR toasties. Our Salad Rolls are OUR salad Rolls. Our Pasta dishes are OUR pasta dishes. If we can't make the food a bit different, I don't put it on the menu. It's all OUR food.

I love this dish. Seems you guys do as well. i was running it all over town on the weekend. I prefer it spicy myself with a bit of extra fresh chilli.

MMMMM.... That Spicy Tomato Prawn Penne.. Mild or spicy, it's pretty damn yummy.

Credit to our little Ranga legend 14 y/o Ava Nielsen for her contribution to this delicious addition to our Spicy Tomato Penne range (Also known as the Spicy Ranga Penne).
Ava is a great example of what our youth can deliver in the right environment. We love having her as a part of our team. We expect to release more of her great ideas in the near future.
