Simple. Uncomplicated. Delicious. Juicy pan fried porterhouse (I like mine rare), oven roasted vegetables (crispy potatoes with garlic, mixed herbs and parmesan; fresh broccolini with garlic and chilli flakes). All ready in under 25 minutes with barely any hands on time. Absolutely gorgeous!!!❤️❤️❤️

Why is it that dumplings ALWAYS taste better when eaten with chopsticks? Also...on a day where a month's worth of rain has fallen in one day, you better believe I am not getting out of bed except when necessary. So, so grateful for this little life of mine. ❤️❤️❤️

Terrible picture...I know. I was hungry and just dumped the food into a bowl, however, I wanted something quick and full of flavour (note to self...don't start cooking when you're starving...start a little earlier). I roasted tomatoes, onion, garlic and andouille sausage in the oven, and in the time it took to cook the pasta, they were ready. I put the vege and sausage in a pan with some of the pasta water and tomato paste. After mixing the pasta in and adding a little parmesan and basil, it was heaven in a bowl. ❤️❤️❤️

Autumn is officially here. The weather is starting to cool down a little, the quality of the light has definitely changed, and to help things along, I've got my autumnal tablecloth on while I enjoy my favourite day off breakfast (egg and bacon sandwich with BBQ sauce...lots of cracked pepper on that egg. A cup of coffee to tie it all together and this girl is in heaven. ❤️❤️❤️

2.5kg of beef, 3 onions, a head of garlic, water and 1.5 hours in the pressure cooker. No salt, no seasoning. Why? Because now I can take this perfectly tender shredded beef and season it whichever way I want it without having one huge batch of the same thing. I can season it for tacos, burritos, bbq sandwiches, empanadas...the options are endless ❤️❤️❤️
