After 3½ weeks of full-time Mum Uber duty (centre of our universe ➡️ Brisbane ➡️ Rockhampton ➡️ Sydney ➡️ Brisbane ➡️ Mudgee ➡️ Sydney again... from Semi Formals to State Rowing, Rugby 7’s, Leadership Presentations, More Rugby 8’s & State Athletics…you get the idea)

I may have been a teeny bit too keen with our last message. 🙈

The legal eagles are still dotting their i’s and crossing their t’s, so until they’re done, you’re stuck with me! ☕ 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

Warialda Parking Changes

New 1-hour parking signs (8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday) have been installed along Hope Street, Warialda. The signs go from the Chemist to the Town Hall. These parking restrictions have been introduced to improve parking availability for shoppers and visitors needing quick access to local businesses. For those requiring longer-term parking, ample parking is available behind the Town Hall, just a short walk from Hope Street.

Proposed Early Morning Pool Access Fees - 2026/27 – Public Exhibition

Gwydir Shire Council proposes to introduce fees for unsupervised early morning access to Council swimming pools before normal supervised opening hours.

Exhibition opens: Friday, 25 September 2026
Submissions close: 4.00 pm Friday, 23 October 2026

Mum hat: ON. 🧢

The last few days in numbers:

• 🚗 1,900km down
• 💃 1 semi formal (sequins survived, I JUST did)
• 🚣‍♀️ 4 days of State Rowing, and medals came home
• 🌙 11.30pm arrival from Rockhampton
• ☕ Coffees: we’ve stopped counting

Today is recovery and restock. Tomorrow we’re open again.

Still to come:

• 🚗 1,300km to Sydney
• 🏉 State Schools Rugby 7’s Finals
• 😴 A nap. Someday.

Hi lovely humans 👋

It’s been a crazy few weeks and honestly, it’s not slowing down — the universe said “not done yet!” 😅

Unfortunately Mum duties are calling — our second youngest has a few commitments this week where Mum needs to be there (she didn’t leave much room for negotiation 😉).

📅 Reopening Tuesday 22 Sept, 8.00am ☕

Sorry to pull the “CLOSED AGAIN” card on you all — juggling all these hats is a full time circus act 🎪 but you lot make it worth it.

SYDNEY BOUND 🏉 🙌🏻

What a fantastic display of talent today in the PSSA Schools Rugby 7’s Knockout!

Warialda Public School put up a great fight against the agility and strength of Mudgee Public School, coming away with 45-15 Win.

8hrs to Big Smoke - hopefully 2 games of rugby 🙏🏻

WPS Rugby 7's Success!

🏉👏 Congratulations to the Warialda Public School Girls Rugby 7's team and Coach Turnbull on their fantastic win against Mudgee in the Rugby 7’s State Quarter Finals today!
Both teams showed incredible skill and sportsmanship throughout the competition- Mudgee was a competitive, fantastic team and we loved seeing the friendships that were made after the game today! A credit to all the girls today!

Off to the State-Semis we go!
