On the 19th June 2006 the Rose Family, Carole, Michael and their daughters, Mikaela, Samantha, Alison and Stephanie opened a café in Goulburn, The Roses Café. After years in the hospitality industry in Sydney this café was to reflect what Carole and Michael saw as something from the past as seemingly forgotten, a café that made all its products onsite, to be differentiated from all other 'generic'

cafés that source their products from huge manufacturers and wholesalers. Their desire for reality and non conformity in partnership with some of the finest young people of Goulburn, who provide service that we have all seen disappear in recent times, has seen The Roses Café go from strength to strength in popularity and reputation.
