There are cafés, and then there is Cafe Sisily 🥐

Paolo Valvoletti grew up Sicily, started working in his uncle's Pasticceria at twelve, left school at fifteen to complete a full pastry apprenticeship, and went on to work alongside the team at Jocelyn's Provisions in Brisbane (one of QLD's most respected food institutions).
Giuliana brought her own Italian heritage and craftsmanship, her pastry apprenticeship and a connection to Golden Beach that served up the ultimate partnership.

In March 2020 they opened as a hole-in-the-wall cannoli and coffee spot. Covid-19 arrived within weeks but the customers came anyway - lining up from 4:30am to get their hands on a cannoli.

That's the kind of place this is, Cafe Sisily serves fresh cannoli filled to order, house-made pastries and bomboloni, celebration cakes, and Segafredo coffee seven days a week from 6am to 3pm. The café has grown from that original shopfront into exactly the kind of place that makes Golden Beach worth the detour.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 3pm, Bar Sisily takes over with Sicilian-inspired cocktails and aperitivo energy with the same warmth that built the café's reputation, just with different lighting and a longer drinks list.
