Our little Double Barrel Kitchen team is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Café All-Rounder / Barista to join us! 🤎

20–30 hours per week

We’re a small, close-knit team who genuinely love working together. Think good vibes, plenty of chats, great coffee and the loveliest bunch of longstanding regulars who make coming to work pretty damn nice.

We’re looking for someone who:
✨ Has solid barista experience
✨ Loves good coffee & good people
✨ Is happy to jump in wherever needed
✨ Brings a positive, friendly attitude
✨ Wants to become part of a team, not just fill a shift

❤️ PLEASE HELP SUPPORT ONE OF OUR DBK REGULARS, KRIS ❤️

Many of our customers will know Kris and his partner Steve, who are much-loved regulars here at Double Barrel Kitchen.

Sadly, Kris was recently involved in a serious accident while at a bus stop in West Burleigh. A bus accident resulted in Kris suffering multiple broken ribs, a fractured scapula and head injuries, leaving him with a long road to recovery ahead.

A GoFundMe has been started to help Kris and Steve with the mounting costs of treatment, rehabilitation and recovery.

This fundraiser is only just getting started, so even if you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing it can make such a difference and help it reach someone who may be able to support them. ❤️

Kris and Steve are part of our DBK family, and we’d love to rally around them during what is an incredibly difficult time.

Today we’re saying goodbye to our beautiful Danish girly pop Lonnie as she heads home to the Netherlands. 🇩🇰✈️🇳🇱

From day one, she brought the biggest smile, endless energy, so much kindness, and the happiest vibes to our little café. Whether she was looking after our customers, making the team laugh, or accidentally becoming the official muffin photo bomber 📸🧁, she made every shift brighter.

We’re going to miss your positivity, your incredible work ethic, your beautiful smile, and the joy you brought to our team every single day.
