Opening night at Jin Izakaya was definitely one for the books. From things not going to plan, to the little (and not so little) disasters behind the scenes…

somehow we made it through!

It wasn’t perfect. It was chaotic. It was stressful. But it was REAL. ❤️

And looking back now, we can laugh about it.

Every restaurant has a beginning — this was ours. 🍶🇯🇵

Our restaurant didn’t work out the way Mum and I had hoped.

It was a difficult experience, but it also taught me a lot about business, resilience and taking a chance on new ideas.

Rather than seeing it as the end of the journey, I decided to turn the lessons into something new — the Dessert Sando.

A new product, a fresh direction, and hopefully the start of something exciting. 🤎
