A little look back at a fantastic day at Gold Coast Sports Hub on 2nd August, when we hosted the Football Queensland South Coast Girls United Carnival. ⚽
With young girls out on the field, bright colours, hair ribbons, fairy floss, a barbecue and plenty of energy, it was a great day celebrating girls in football.
It’s always special to see so many young players enjoying the game, building confidence and being part of such a positive football environment.
At Gold Coast Sports Hub, we love seeing football bring people together across all ages and stages of life, from young girls just starting out, to women finding their way back into the game later on.
Here’s to more girls in football, more women in football and more opportunities to stay involved in the game for the long run.
And if you’re a woman who used to play and have been thinking about getting back into the game, our Walking Football community would love to welcome you too. ⚽
P.S. Walking Football is on tomorrow night from 6:30-7:30pm if you’ve been thinking about giving it a go. New faces are always welcome.
