The Bowden Family Ambrose for 2026
Two words to describe today, absolutely fantastic.
As usual the team that forms the Bowden Family have pulled off another brilliant day and event for golfers and the club. We cannot thank them all enough. The festivities are still continuing long after golf has finished and winners (and losers) handed their prizes.
Certainly a day not to be missed, if you did, make sure you don’t next year!
Winners for this year by a couple of shots were Dave Parish, Mitch Young, Scott Atkinson and Josh Wilson. Great work guys!
Runners up Jamie Andrews, Ryan Yates, John Cornelius and Adam Cameron.

An absolutely stunning day out on the course today for Steve Burns sponsor day. Huge thank you to Steve on behalf of us all, winners and runners up received very generous vouchers for AVON VALLEY MEATS
A Grade winner was Nigel Rigby on 37 points from Shelly Beach Golf Club, who is part of a big group visiting us this weekend, thank you.
A grade Runner up was Steve Williams on 33 on a countback from Stacey Groves.
B grade winner was Mark Stone with 35 on a count back from runner up Dave Saunders.
C grade was won by Nathan Webber with a solid 35 on another countback from John Nicolson.

Just a quick note, please if you’re playing a social or competition round at our beautiful course please rake the bunkers after you have used them. Disappointing to see this morning after the bunkers were freshly prepared yesterday at lunch time.

A very generous prize 🏆 day for Saturday golf ⛳️
Our A grade winner and best score of the day went to Brendon Murray with 39 points.
B grade winner was Roy Crichton with a Steady 35 points.
C grade went to Paul Garland on 36

Story of the day was Josh Wilson nearly scoring a Perch in his backswing from an eagle 🦅 flying overhead 😂
