📢 ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

After substantial consideration, it is with sadness that 3 Blind Mice will close at the end of March.

We have been operating hospitality businesses in this beautiful town for a few years now, and have absolutely loved doing what we do best and getting to know all the people of Gloucester while we do that.
But the reality of that comes with substantial stressors, one’s which we have made the difficult decision to move away from. The long hours and behind the scenes work that it takes to run a business are a given, but combining that with ongoing staff shortages, the (still) on-flowing effects of covid on travel and tourism in small towns and the rising cost of.. well, everything - means we had to evaluate where we wanted to be.
And for us, that’s being home more with Gracie, being available for her while she’s at this age, it’s being able to travel more to see our families, to one day in the not-so distant future make the move back to QLD to be nearer to them, and while running 3 Blind Mice has been full of fantastic moments and memories, at this time in our lives it isn’t aligned with making fantastic moments and memories of our own as a family.

We are so incredibly thankful to the amazing people of Gloucester who have supported us, to our staff and extended 3 Blind Mice family, and mostly to our Gracie for being so patient and accomodating while we worked hard to build 3 Blind Mice to what it is today.

We are so grateful to be a part of this community and look forward to having a bit more time on our hands to continue to spend time with you all outside of the cafe walls
