🎀🩷🎉 HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY TO MACK & LULU! 🎉🩷🎀

THREE YEARS OF COFFEE, CHAOS, LAUGHTER, LOVE & A WHOLE LOT OF HARD WORK! ☕🐾

Today marks THREE incredible years of Mack & Lulu Speciality Coffee House, and WOW… what a journey it has been! 🥹🩷

Three years ago, I took a chance on a dream. I poured my heart, soul, savings, endless hours and probably a few too many tears into creating something I could be proud of.

And today, looking at what Mack & Lulu has become, I couldn’t be prouder. 🩷

We’ve served thousands upon thousands of coffees, welcomed incredible people through our doors, made lifelong friendships, won awards, supported our beautiful little community and donated over $31,000 to local schools, charities, sporting clubs, community events and organisations.

But one of my greatest achievements isn’t something you can measure in dollars, awards or coffee cups…

It’s the incredible team standing beside me. 🥹🩷

To my Mack & Lulu crew…

THANK YOU. ❤️

Thank you for the ridiculously early mornings, the crazy busy weekends, the days when the coffee machine doesn’t stop, the kitchen is absolutely pumping and we’re all running around like headless chooks! 😂☕

Thank you for showing up, working hard, learning, growing, laughing and helping me turn this little dream into something so much bigger.

Every single one of you plays a part in what makes Mack & Lulu special. From our cooks creating beautiful food, to our baristas pouring their hearts into every coffee, to our juniors and all-rounders keeping everything moving — I appreciate you more than you know.

We might drive each other crazy sometimes (that’s what families do! 😂), but I am so incredibly grateful for the team we are building.

I couldn’t do what we do without you. 🩷

And to our AMAZING customers…

Whether you’ve been supporting us since day one, stop in every morning for your coffee, travel the highway and make us your regular stop, or have only just discovered us — THANK YOU!

You have supported a small, independently owned business, helped create local jobs and allowed us to give back to the community we love.

Today is a celebration of ALL OF YOU! 🎉

🎈 Our roof is filled with birthday balloons!

🎁 Hidden inside are prizes, discounts, FREE COFFEES, gift vouchers and more!

🍔 Our special Taste of Mack & Lulu Slider Collection is available TODAY ONLY!

So come celebrate with us, grab a coffee, enjoy something delicious and help us make our third birthday one to remember!

Three years down… and trust me, we’re only getting started! 🚀🩷

Here’s to bigger dreams, more memories, more laughs, more coffee and many more birthdays!

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY, MACK & LULU! 🎂🎀

With so much love and gratitude,

Tracey & the entire Mack & Lulu Team 🩷🐾

Built on a dream. Powered by passion. Made possible by our people.

🎨🤎 EARTHLY BREW — BRIDGET KELLY 🤎🎨

Tomorrow is a very special day for our little community, with the official opening of Bridget Kelly’s “Earthly Brew” Art Exhibition at the Gin Gin Regional Courthouse Gallery.

We are incredibly blessed to have such a talented artist right here in Gin Gin. Bridget’s work is absolutely beautiful — inspired by her love of the land, coffee and the natural textures that surround us. ☕🤎🌿

There is something extra special about seeing someone from our own community put their heart, creativity and passion out there for everyone to experience, and I would LOVE to see Gin Gin get behind Bridget and show her just how much we support our local talent. 🥰

✨ OFFICIAL OPENING — TOMORROW
📅 Saturday 3 October
⏰ 2:00pm
📍 Gin Gin Regional Courthouse Gallery
🎶 Live music with Caitlin

The exhibition will then run from 3 October through to 4 November, so if you can’t make tomorrow’s opening, please pop in during the exhibition and take the time to see Bridget’s incredible original artwork.

Bridget, you should be so incredibly proud. 🤎

It takes courage to put something you’ve created out into the world, and I hope tomorrow you look around that gallery and realise just how many people are there supporting YOU and celebrating your talent.

Come on Gin Gin — let’s get behind one of our own! 🙌🎨

Share this around, bring a friend, come along tomorrow afternoon and help make Bridget’s opening one to remember.

Congratulations Bridget — I cannot wait to see where your talent takes you. 🤎☕🎨

🎉🐾 NEXT FRIDAY, MACK & LULU TURNS THREE… AND HOLY HELL, WHAT A THREE YEARS IT HAS BEEN. 🐾🎉

Three years ago we opened the doors to a little coffee shop on the Bruce Highway in Gin Gin.

We had no idea just how big a part of our lives — and our community — Mack & Lulu would become.

we’re not just celebrating a birthday…..

We’re celebrating what THREE YEARS of backing ourselves, working bloody hard and having an incredible community behind us can create. ❤️

And when we actually stopped and looked at what we’ve achieved in those three years… even we were a little blown away.

❤️ More than $31,000 donated back into our Gin Gin community — supporting schools, events, raffles, sporting groups, not-for-profits, fundraisers and local causes.

☕ More than 1,000 coffees given away.

🏆 Named Best Café in Gin Gin in 2025.

🏆 And in 2026, recognised for Best Café, Best Coffee House AND Best Burgers.

🍔 We’ve created signature burgers, crazy weekend specials, coffees and drinks that have become part of Mack & Lulu.

☕ We’ve made tens of thousands of coffees through 5am starts, highway rushes, school holidays and those days where the coffee machine simply NEVER STOPS.

🚗 We’ve welcomed travellers from all over Australia and the world — many of whom stop on the way through and make sure they stop again on the way home.

📱 We’ve built an online community of more than 3,000 people who follow our madness, celebrate our wins and support what we do.

🤝 We’ve supported local events, fundraisers, schools and organisations because we’ve always believed one thing:

If your community supports your business, you support your community right back. ❤️

But the numbers aren’t actually what we’re most proud of.

It’s the people.

The 5am regulars.

The tradies grabbing their coffee before work.

The families having breakfast together.

The kids deciding which milkshake they want.

The travellers stretching their legs after hours on the highway.

The customers who walk through the door and we already know their coffee order. 😂

The staff who have been part of our journey.

The friendships we’ve made.

And the people who started as customers and somehow became part of the Mack & Lulu family.

Somewhere along the way, Mack & Lulu became more than a café.

And next Friday…

WE’RE CELEBRATING THAT. 🎉

But we aren’t just putting up a few balloons and cutting a birthday cake.

😉 WE HAVE SOMETHING SPECIAL PLANNED.

We’re about to launch our 3RD BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION — and there are going to be some VERY fun ways for you guys to get involved.

☕ FREE COFFEES? Yep.

🎉 Fun challenges and surprises? Absolutely.

🎁 More goodies up for grabs? You bet.

🍴 And we’re also bringing you A TASTE OF MACK & LULU — a chance to experience a little more of what we’re all about.

And that’s all we’re telling you…

FOR NOW. 👀😂

Over the next few days we’ll start revealing exactly what we have planned for next Friday.

And trust us…

You’re going to want to be part of this one.

Because if there’s one thing we’ve learnt over the past three years, it’s that none of this would exist without the people who walk through our doors every day.

So this birthday isn’t just about celebrating Mack & Lulu.

It’s about celebrating YOU too. ❤️

Three years of coffee. ☕
Three years of community. ❤️
Three years of craziness. 😂
Three years of giving back. 🫶
Three years of incredible people.
Three years of building something we’re incredibly bloody proud of.

GIN GIN — THANK YOU.

Next Friday…

🐾 MACK & LULU TURNS THREE. 🐾

And we’re going to have some fun celebrating it.

Keep watching our page. 👀

The birthday surprises start dropping soon…

Est. 2023 — and we’re only getting started. ❤️☕🐾

❤️ A little reminder from behind the counter… please be kind. ❤️

School holidays are here, and we have been absolutely SLAMMED.

And while we are incredibly grateful to be busy — truly, we are — there’s something I feel needs to be said.

Please be kind to hospitality staff.

We are human beings.

We get tired. We get overwhelmed. We feel the pressure when there’s a line out the door, a full café, orders printing faster than we can make them, coffees lined up, tables waiting and takeaway orders coming through at the same time.

And through all of that, our team is still trying their absolute hardest to give every single customer great food, great coffee and great service.

Mack & Lulu is not a fast-food restaurant.

Your meal isn’t sitting in a hotbox waiting to be handed over.

We cook your food fresh when you order it. 🍳🥓🍔

Your coffee is made individually. Your meals are prepared, cooked, assembled and plated by actual people in a very busy kitchen.

When 20, 30 or 40 people order around the same time, those meals still need to be cooked one by one.

We completely understand that waiting can be frustrating.

But what is heartbreaking is watching staff who are already working as fast and as hard as they possibly can be spoken to rudely, snapped at, belittled or treated as though they simply aren’t trying hard enough.

They are trying.

Most days, they’re running NON-STOP.

Sometimes they’re on tired legs. Sometimes they haven’t had a chance to eat. Sometimes they’ve barely stopped for a drink of water.

And they’re still smiling, still making coffees, still cooking meals, still clearing tables and still doing everything they can to look after you.

A little patience and kindness can make an enormous difference to someone who is doing their absolute best.

If we’re busy, it means there may be a wait.

It also means that when your meal arrives, it has been made fresh for you — not pulled from a warmer.

We will always do our best to get your order to you as quickly as we can without sacrificing the quality that Mack & Lulu stands for.

So during these crazy school holiday weeks, we’re asking for one little thing:

Please treat our staff the way you would want someone to treat your daughter, your son, your mum, your friend or yourself while they were at work. ❤️

Hospitality workers aren’t punching bags for someone’s impatience.

They’re people working bloody hard to look after you.

And to MY TEAM — I want you all to know how incredibly grateful I am for each and every one of you. ❤️

I see how hard you work.

I see the days where you barely stop from the moment you walk through the door.

I see you rushing from one thing to another, helping each other, dealing with the pressure, keeping the coffees moving, getting meals out and still trying to smile when you’re absolutely exhausted.

I see it, and I appreciate you.

Mack & Lulu doesn’t run because of one person. It runs because of a team of people who turn up and work bloody hard, day after day.

I’m incredibly proud of what we have built together, and I hope you all know that I appreciate you more than I probably say.

And to the overwhelming majority of our beautiful customers who smile, say thank you, tell our team not to rush and understand when we’re under the pump — we notice you too.

Honestly, you have no idea how much those little moments of kindness can mean to someone in the middle of an incredibly busy day.

Thank you for supporting our little business.

Thank you for keeping us so incredibly busy.

Thank you to my team for giving it everything you’ve got.

And most importantly…

Please be kind. It costs nothing, but to someone who’s doing their absolute best, it can mean everything. ❤️

— Tracey & the Mack & Lulu team 🐾☕️
