This Wednesday to Friday we’ll be taking a short family break.

As a small family-run business, these moments together are something we really value, and we’re grateful to have the opportunity to slow down for a few days.

☕ We’ll be OPEN on Saturday as usual and back to our normal trading hours from Wednesday 5th August.

🤍 A Little Family Break

After a few busy weeks and working through the school holidays, our family is looking forward to taking a short break together.

The House Café & Play Centre will be closed Wednesday 29th July – Friday 31st July.

☕ We’ll be OPEN on Saturday as usual, and then back to our normal trading hours from Wednesday 5th August.

As a small family-run business, we’re incredibly grateful for the support you’ve shown us. Thank you for your understanding and for choosing to support local—it truly means more than you know.

We’re looking forward to slowing down for a few days, making some special family memories, and returning refreshed. We can’t wait to welcome you all back soon.

As a mum, especially when my kids were younger, there were days that felt so full they all blurred into each other. Looking back now, I realise just how true these words really are.

Our Saturday party bookings are now fully booked until 8 August, which means we’re officially booked out for the rest of July. 🥳

🍟 I’ve been thinking…

One of the things I’ve been thinking about with Uber Eats is that some foods just aren’t quite the same by the time they arrive.

Our gluten-free seasoned chips are a favourite, so I’ve been thinking about how we could make them even better for delivery…

✨ Loaded Fries! ✨

It’s something I’ve wanted to add to the menu for a long time, and now it’s finally happening!

Starting with our delicious gluten-free seasoned chips, you’ll be able to load them up with tasty toppings like creamy cheese sauce, gravy, chicken, beef, bacon, chipotle, sour cream… and maybe a few more surprises! 🤤

The best part? You’ll be able to build them just the way you like them, choosing your favourite toppings to create your perfect loaded fries.

We’re just putting the finishing touches on everything, so keep an eye out—they’ll be coming to Uber Eats (and in-store) very soon!

I think I’ve finally caught up on all of our party enquiries, emails, messages and phone calls. 🤪

Just a little real-life post today. ☕️

It’s been a big week and an even bigger weekend here at The House.

Yesterday started before 3am for me and ended after a huge day at the café with five parties, lots of coffee, lots of happy kids and one very tired café owner by the end of it all. 😅

Some days are exhausting, but they’re also a reminder of how grateful I am.

To everyone who visits, books parties, orders coffee, brings their little ones in to play, shares our posts or recommends us to a friend — thank you. 🙏🏼

Small businesses are built on community, and we genuinely appreciate every bit of support.

I’m home now, putting my feet up for a little while and recharging before another busy week begins. ☕️
