☕ WE’RE HIRING — EXPERIENCED HIGH-VOLUME BARISTA

We’re looking for a skilled, experienced barista to join our hospitality team across Emerald, Gembrook and Upper Beaconsfield.

This role is suited to someone who is confident working in a genuinely busy café environment and understands how to maintain quality, speed and consistency throughout service.

You must:

• Have experience working with approximately 5kg of coffee per day
• Be confident dialing in grinders and managing coffee quality
• Work efficiently under pressure without compromising standards
• Be available at least one weekend day, ideally with availability for two weekdays
• Be comfortable working across our three locations
• Enjoy being part of a fun, supportive and hardworking team

You will also work alongside our Head Barista and may assist with training and developing other team members as required.

We are open to offering either a casual or part-time position for the right person.

We’re hiring: Chef / Baker / Café All-Rounder

Well we're open, joining Over The Road Emerald as part of the Upper Beaconsfield General Store group 🎉 We're kinda busy! We’re looking for one more great person to join our kitchen team across our locations.

The ideal fit would be someone local to Gembrook, Emerald, Upper Beaconsfield or surrounds who has strong café kitchen experience, but is also comfortable being an all-rounder.

We’d especially love to hear from someone with a mix of:

• Chef or café cook experience
• Baking, pastry or prep skills
• Confidence working in a busy daytime café
• A positive, team-first attitude
• The ability to jump in where needed
• Coffee or front-of-house experience would be a bonus, but not essential

This role would suit someone who likes variety — food prep, service, baking, helping keep the kitchen organised, and being part of a growing local business.

Predominantly daytime hours. No regular nights. Weekends are required as thats when hospitality is busy and we need the support. Full-time or part-time available, casual would be considered for the right candidate.

You’ll be joining the team behind Upper Beaconsfield General Store, Over the Road Emerald and Over the Road Gembrook — a growing local family hospitality business with plenty of opportunity for the right person. We've got big plans and love working in the communities we live in.
