Are you nearing the end of your apprenticeship or cookery studies and looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills? Join this energetic team at their mobile pizza truck, serving delicious sourdough pizzas in the Geelong area!

That Coffee Van has been serving the Geelong community with their mobile coffee van since 2014, and they're excited to expand their business with their new pizza truck. Equipped with two Gozney ovens and a stainless-steel prep bench with a Bain-Marie for pizza toppings, their truck is ready to serve up to 120 pizzas a day during special events.

Role Details:
• Position: 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Chef or Cookery student
• Hours: Fridays, 4pm to 8pm (with potential weekend bookings)
• Location: Geelong area

Responsibilities:
• Stretch, top, and cook pizzas efficiently and with precision.
• Maintain an organised and clean work environment.
• Ensure the truck is fully loaded and prepped before service at 4pm.
• Collaborate with the team to create a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Requirements:
• Nearing the end of your apprenticeship or cookery studies.
• Confident and competent in preparing and cooking pizzas.
• Highly organised and efficient in your work.
• Creative and passionate about baking.

Additional Information:
• Dough preparation is currently handled off-site, but may be included in the role later.
• They have several trail running events booked in June and July, including a two-day event in July with 120 pizzas expected each day.

So, for the first time in years, I’ve got some spots to fill on my Monday to Friday coffee round from Moolap to North Geelong. And this next week is very flat with the school holidays, so if you’d like to try a coffee van at your place of work, get in touch. We use Geelong Coffee Roasters GOLIATH coffee, a variety of chocolates, chai and frappes, ice coffee and we have all the alternative milks. We also carry a selection of Routleys cakes, slices, cookies and muffins.

Did I also mention we’ve now got That Pizza Truck…get the boss to shout the crew fresh, stonebaked pizzas for lunch. Pre-ordered using Pane Di Matteo sourdough bases, finished with the finest Italian cheese from Bruno’s Fine Foods imported direct from Italy and topped with high quality meats and Smallgoods from Fabbris in Melbourne and baked on site.
