✨ A Happy Ending to Our Poké Geelong Era ✨
As our lease comes to an end, we’ve made the bittersweet decision to close this chapter and bring our Poké Geelong journey to an end.
I (Sarah) started this venture at 26, full of energy, dreams, and maybe a touch of naivete. Now in my 30s, it feels like the right moment for change and new beginnings. My hope was always to pass the baton, to sell the business to someone excited to start their own venture or inspired by what we built here. While it didn’t work out that way, choosing not to extend the lease is a conscious decision: a choice to grow, move forward, and finally let go of the “curse of the capable.”
My time here has been filled with countless lessons, laughter, and unforgettable moments that I’ll carry with me forever.
A huge thank you to my past and present team, who’ve made this business more than a job, you turned it into a community. And to our incredible customers: your support, loyalty, and love have meant the world. From first timers to regulars who became friends, you’ve stuck with us through thick and thin.
Our last day of trade will be Saturday, 27th September, and we’ll also have extended trading hours on Thursday and Friday nights so there’s more time to enjoy your favourites with us. 💕
