A little announcement - after the end of next week we are closing our biz.
We'd love to make you a meal or two and, on a practical note, if you would like a tiffin (our reusable container - $45) for a takeout meal, a picnic or a weekend roadie, we have dropped the price to the price we paid for them and this would be a big help.
We set ourselves this year to see if the Good Meals would work as a standalone (separate to the cafe) business but it's become tricky to make a profit and we came to the realisation that, without major changes, it wasn't going to be worthwhile.
I'm grateful for the connections and purpose that Little Green Corner and The Good Meal Project have provided.
Right at the top of the list of people to thank are Linda and Andrew. These two have given me / the business hours of their time every week (harvesting produce and bringing it in. Emptying and cleaning food waste bins) for close to 8 years! To our hardest of working farmers Eliza and Jim, Xav and Laura, Xav and Kim, Corrinne and Pete, Kate and Craig, you guys are amazing too 🙌
And on the home front, I'll have to work out how to keep the Small Batch coffee, Schulz milk and Glou wine flowing!!
Oh yes, those close to Barwon Heads are in for a treat, as James’ next gig will be a big win for that little coastal town. Follow for updates.
