Sydney punk rockers Dear Seattle are hitting the road this August, announcing an extensive regional Australian headline tour with very special guests Seahaven (US) who will be making their debut visit to our shores landing at The Barwon Club Friday 4th September.

With a distinctive Aussie tinge to their emotive and propulsive wares, Dear Seattle are a headbanging-with-heart punk rock band from Sydney’s Northern Beaches. One part mosh pit, and one part love letter, the band have created a truly unique and powerful style of songwriting that’s connecting with fans across Australia and the rest of the world.

Joining Dear Seattle on their trek across Australia is Seahaven, an alternative rock band from Torrance, California, known for blending emotionally raw songwriting with melodic, atmospheric guitar-driven music. Over nearly two decades, the band has earned a devoted following through acclaimed releases including Winter Forever, Reverie Lagoon: Music for Escapism Only, Halo of Hurt, and their self-titled 2026 album. With introspective lyrics, dynamic arrangements, and a sound that balances melancholy with soaring hooks, Seahaven continues to evolve while staying true to the honesty that has defined the band from the beginning.

Melbourne Psychedelic hard rock outfit Rosewood heads to Geelong for a huge night of Australian rock at The Barwon Club Hotel on Friday 31st July, 2026 from 7:30pm

Joining them are fellow Melbourne rockers Trick Shot, bringing their high-energy blend of classic hard rock, driving riffs and arena-sized hooks, along with Geelong's own Johnny The Boy, opening the night with a powerful set of original pub rock music.

Rosewood are carving out a reputation with the coolest basslines, thunderous riffs, duelling twin-guitar firepower and the unmistakable swagger of classic southern rock.

Register for the tournament, vote for the qualifying song, and warm up before the battle begins! Voting closes at 6:55.

Everyone gets one shot at the same song on the same difficulty. As each player finishes, their score goes onto the live leaderboard.

Once everyone has played, the top scorers will progress to the finals on a brand-new song to decide who will be crowned Geelong's Ultimate Guitar Hero!

Grind into the BC Bandroom for GMCC's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Soundtrack show on Sunday 2nd August from 7:30pm

For a whole generation, the sound of punk, skate rock and heavy riffs blasting through a TV wasn’t just a game soundtrack — it was an introduction to an entire world.

When Tony Hawk's Pro Skater landed on consoles in the late ’90s, it did more than redefine skate games. It introduced thousands of us to bands we might never have discovered otherwise.

The moment you dropped into a level and the opening bars of Superman by Goldfinger kicked in, something clicked. Punk, skate culture and gaming collided — and it stuck with us.

This show is a celebration of that era. A night dedicated to the songs that blasted through bedroom speakers, CRT TVs and late-night skate sessions. From the raw energy of Bad Religion and Dead Kennedys, to the riffs of Rage Against the Machine, Primus, and Motörhead, this setlist is a throwback to the soundtrack that shaped our generation.

Grab your crew, lace up your Vans, and get ready to relive the soundtrack of your youth. And even better - we'll have the game up on the big screen to play while the soundtracks are being played live!!
