5 years has seen many faces, many lessons and many smiles.
Thank you to everyone that has chosen to come to this little 50sqm coffee shop to spend their hard earned with us. It has kept all the different faces over the years behind the counter fed and on their individual journeys.
We’d be lying if we said that we’ve loved every single minute of it, but it’s all been an extremely rewarding journey, and now, it’s time for the next chapter!
We would love to have the chance to say our thank you and good byes 9-11 this Saturday over a coffee, on us!
I hope to see you then for one last cup of Joe.

Yep, we’re a part of the mass staff shortage. It’s not every day, but it is happening some days.
Thank you to everyone that understands this. It seems near impossible to explain it to the very few that seemingly have chosen not to understand.
We have chosen certain strategies to stay open on these days and instead minimise what we can offer.
We value our staff moral and work ethic, hence these strategies.
Thank you, THANK YOU for understanding. We hope this is short lived 🙏🏽

Wow, what a first week back! We have operated on half staff this week and have been busier than we would normally be. The other half of our team are all off isolating. Our staff have bound together and really hustled!! Thank you Joe staff 🙏🏽🙏🏽
A huge THANK YOU is also in order for everyone that came in and showed us support and empathy. Our industry has copped blow after blow, after blow over the last 2 YEARS. For something I think we all took for granted and developed exceptionally high standards of, I think will soon be a luxury only with all the venues unable to reopen and have in-fact closed their doors for good.
We love our industry and it requires a high level of passion to be able to meet these standards. On a good day, when there was no declared pandemic, staff shortages, no supplier challengers and supply shortages.. we are certainly very able and want to thrive to exceed these expectations. Unfortunately, these are certainly not those times.
So again, THANK YOU for all of you that have showed us the very much needed support up until now.

To those very few minority of selfish trouble makers, f*** you. You are not part of our family and are part of the division causing alot of the stress for the rest of us. If you’re thinking of attempting to come into our home and ruin the atmosphere that we are desperately trying to create, you will be told to leave and not come back.

To the rest of you downright legends, thank you for being the stand up, respectful and great people that you are. Thank you for your “thank you’s” and smiles. They mean more than you may know.
