HONEY BUSH BRAGGOT 🍯

Inspired by traditional First Nations methods of gathering and soaking nectar-rich blossoms in water to make a nutritious drink, Honey Bush Braggot brings together b**r and honey in an old-world style with a distinctly Australian character.

Brewed with pure Banksia serrata honey Tambo Valley Honey, creating a rich, toffee-like b**r base layered with caramel sweetness and deep floral character.

"This comes from gamay d’auvergne and hybrid varieties grown on Catherine Dumora's ultra low-yielding and lovingly tended vineyard in the hills above Lamontgie. All of the fruit was direct-pressed to sandstone vats for fermentation and elevage, resulting in a pale pink w**e with medium body, lots of youthful pulpy texture, restrained shades of red and white fruit, and some gently flinty curry leaf character from the protective style of handling adding intrigue and complexity.

The telltale minerality of the site shines through, with the vineyard planted over a unique mix of granite, schist, quartz and calcareous matter, but this w**e also very much sings of beautiful, well-ripened fruit."

It is certainly an homage to our favourite rose w**es from the South of France, though mainly its a reflection of the wonderful 2024 growing season and the beautiful vineyard."
