Everyday we throw away resources to be recycled or to be put to landfill. Working in cafes for the last 10 years I have seen the vast amounts of resources consumed daily to support our love of coffee and are then thrown away. For example 'the Tetra Pak' (long life milk container)- especially with the rising demand for vegan milk options (coconut, almond, soy ect). So why don't we use this product that's in abundance to make goods already needed? Why don't be more creative with what we have and think beyond what is considered 'trash'. This is the question I asked myself 4 years ago and from it sprung 'resoyclables'. Resoyclables is a project/small business aimed at finding new ways to re-use this resource and to hopefully help people be more conscious and creative about what we use and discard in our lives. Its an open space to discuss other ways to we can use this resource, to share creative re-purposing ideas. I am starting up a pickup and delivery service to local cafes where I will take away your tetra paks, make them into takeaway coffee/food carry trays and then deliver them back as a finished product.
