It’s hard to put into words just how much Faye has meant to Amante. 🤍

For the past few years, Faye has been such a huge part of this little cafe. She’s been there through so many chapters, helping shape not just the way Amante looks and feels, but the culture, the community and the people who make this place what it is.

So many of you will know Faye as a friend. Some of you might know her as the lovely smile that greeted you every time you walked through our doors. And some of you might simply know her as the person who knew your coffee order before you even had to say it.

However you know her, one thing is certain: Amante simply wouldn’t be Amante without Faye.

We’re so incredibly grateful for all the laughs, the early mornings, the coffees, the chaos, the conversations and everything in between.

Faye, we’re going to miss you more than you know but We’re so excited for you to start this next chapter!

This isn’t goodbye. It’s just see you later. 🤍

Lucky for the regulars who’ve become friends, the laughs behind the coffee machine, the spontaneous chess games, tarot readings, and all the beautiful chaos in between.
It’s all the little moments we’ll remember. The laughs, the stories and the people who make coming to work pretty bloody special.

There are plenty of things about running a cafe that are hard. We wish it was as simple as making good coffee!

The early mornings. Rising costs. Fixing things. And the moments where you wonder why you ever thought this was a good idea. 😂

But then you look around and see the people who have become part of Amante.

Our incredible team. The familiar faces. The regulars who have been coming for years. The people who have met friends here, made memories here or simply made stopping in for a coffee part of their day.

And you realise that’s what makes it all worth it.

This month, we’re welcoming Fremantle artist Soozie Wray and her bright, joyful collection, Goddess.

Mostly self taught, Soozie creates colourful works in gouache and acrylic, inspired by people, the world around us, and her love of mandalas.

Goddess celebrates goddesses from across the world, from nymphs and naiads to modern day icons, with each piece taking hours to create and filled with intricate detail.

Come grab a cuppa, take a little wander around the gallery and meet the goddesses for yourself. ☕️✨
