Arja’s story has stayed with me: after being seriously injured at a party at North One Mile Beach on Saturday night, she was airlifted by helicopter to John Hunter Hospital. She had emergency surgery to relieve pressure on her brain and is now in the ICU, receiving care from an incredible medical team.

Her family is focused on being beside her through this frightening and uncertain time. This fundraiser is helping ease the extra financial pressure so they can keep their attention on Arja and her recovery. More than 265 donations have already brought the campaign to just over three-quarters of its goal, which shows how much support surrounds this family.

Our thoughts and hearts are with one of our beautiful team members and her family after a truly horrific incident on Saturday night.

She is currently in hospital in an induced coma, and at this stage we don’t know what the future holds.
