As many of you know, we are a very small team and have been going hard in business together for 10 years - over that time working on a restaurant, a cafe, a catering and cake business, managing our family restaurant and working on a new store (opening soon)😮‍💨
The past 4 years have been particularly exhausting with personal hardships as well as traversing national and global crises. We put all of our heart, soul and passion in everything we do, and we love what we do, but burnout is very real in hospitality (and in every industry!). We’ve decided to take some time to realign ourselves, spend some time with our families, and also some time working on our current and upcoming projects. Verde Eatery will return next year, albeit it may look slightly different, but in the meantime you can still find us (and our delicious food) at and 🥐🍕🍰🍝 annnd keep your eyes peeled for our new store opening early 2024 🎉
