📍 Forrest Beach Seaside Resort Update
Hi everyone,
We wanted to share a quick update on where things are at with the hotel and caravan park.
There’s been a lot of excitement and word around town that we may be opening this weekend. While we absolutely appreciate the enthusiasm, we are still working through a few important final steps before we can safely and properly open our doors.
At this stage, we are still waiting on our POS system and a few other key operational pieces to be finalised and fully in place. Once everything is ready, we’ll be in a much better position to welcome you all back properly.
We know everyone is keen, and we are just as eager to open and get things moving. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding while we make sure everything is set up the right way.
We’ll continue to post updates here as soon as we have a confirmed opening date.

Another big step forward! 👏

The new flooring is now being laid in the bottle shop, and the freshly painted walls have completely transformed the space.

With the flooring and painting almost complete, we're getting ready for the next exciting stage, installing the shelving and stocking the shelves. 🍻🍷

It's great to see everything starting to come together, and we can't wait to share more progress with you as we move closer to opening.

Another exciting milestone in the motel room renovations! 🎉

The new vinyl plank flooring has officially started going down, and it's already transforming the rooms. After re-sheeting the walls, fresh paint, and removing the old flooring, it's fantastic to see everything beginning to come together.

We're loving the clean, modern look and can't wait to show you the finished result. Every week brings us one step closer to welcoming guests into beautifully refreshed rooms.

Motel Room Renovations Update

The motel rooms are starting to come together, and we're excited to share the progress!

✅ Interior walls have been completely re-sheeted
✅ Fresh paint is now being applied
✅ The old flooring has been removed
✅ Brand new flooring is scheduled to be laid next week

It's amazing to see these rooms being transformed, and we can't wait to reveal the finished product.

Every step brings us closer to welcoming guests back into fresh, modern and comfortable accommodation at Forrest Beach.

The park is looking beautiful and we're officially up and running here at Forrest Beach! 🌴☀️

With perfect winter weather, lows of 15°C and highs of 25°C, there's no better time to escape for a few days by the coast. The fish have been biting, the beach is peaceful, and the days are simply stunning.

There’s something special about waking up to the gentle sound of the waves rolling in, stepping outside with a coffee in hand, and watching the sun rise over the islands as another beautiful day begins.

The new mirrors have been installed and are a standout feature in our refreshed caravan park amenities block. So much work has gone into this project and it’s looking absolutely incredible.
A huge thank you to Spina’s Glass & Aluminium, Micale Cabinets, S**c n Span, the team at Rupps Plumbing, Shane Austin, Beaumont Tiles Ingham, Ingham Manufactures, Fichera Contracting for the landscaping and clearing of the overgrowth, Fichera Electrical Solutions for the new lighting, and Global Signage for bringing my vision of mermaid and pirate signs to life.
And of course, a very special thank you to our own Tony and Riley for the endless hours of painting, cleaning, and tackling every other job thrown their way.
We truly appreciate everyone getting on board, working around tight timeframes, and squeezing our project in so we could get everything ready to open.
