‼️UPDATE ‼️
I want to firstly take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to each and every one of my beautiful customers who have supported our little Sweet Three venture at some point over the past 4.5 years. Thank you for your endless encouragement and continuing to visit us with your smiling faces each week. Each of you allowed me to achieve the vision of providing an amazing spot by the Lake that the whole local and outside community loved and now misses terribly!!! It’s been an amazing journey, albeit challenging at times!

With that said it is with great sadness that I regretfully inform our community that due to the unfortunate events that have occurred I have no choice but to not re-open Sweet Three. To be honest it’s been a very traumatic few months for myself and my family. We’ve ridden the emotions of grief and it truly breaks my heart to have to finish like this. Not only was my livelihood torn away in an instant but heartbreakingly so was my beautiful team members. Definitely not the ending we visualised, sacrificed so much and worked so hard for. My beautiful team, my family and myself will miss everyone terribly.

Thank you all again for supporting my family and I on this journey.

‼️ UPDATE ‼️Apologies to everyone for the lack of social media posts. We’ve been patiently waiting to hear from the insurance company and I’ve also been hiding in the background soaking up the time with my little family, while trying to process the events of late.
Unfortunately news hasn’t been any better and despite the assessor deeming the damage to our cafe as a total loss, our insurance company has denied our claim. This news was pretty devastating!
We are so extremely grateful for the continued support from our community. Everyone has been so beautiful, encouraging and supportive.
Despite the adversity and continued gut wrenching news we are determined to keep pushing ahead as best as we can to begin the rebuild process! It’s going to be slow but somehow we will make it work!

As we continue to come to grips with our new reality and try to figure out a plan to move forward we reflect and feel so much gratitude for the huge outpouring of support and love from the community. The encouragement to keep going has been overwhelming at a time when it’s all become too much. The local community have wrapped their “virtual” arms around us and made us feel so loved, making it easier. To everyone who has sent messages, called, commented it means the absolute world. I apologise for not being able to reply individually to everyone….it’s been a bit too overwhelming at times to even process what’s happened. I am reading all of your kind words and feeling extremely grateful for the amazing support. There are still so many unknowns with the process that lies ahead. Even though our beautiful container may seem like normal from the outside and can be deceiving, the damage all throughout the inside is quite extensive due to heat and smoke damage. While we take time to process it all we are working hard behind the scenes to come up with a plan to move forward and get back to doing what we do best…..providing our town with the best coffee and snacks in the best location! Thanks for sticking by us.

Unfortunately, early this morning we received the sad news that our beloved cafe was on fire. The damage has been extensive and at this stage we are unsure of our next move to reopen.

I want to pass on my sincere thanks to the fire crew and other emergency services for their fast action in containing the blaze. Thank you to my beautiful management team for taking control fast and helping me sort the situation out. Thank you to our local tradies who dropped everything to get there to help out my business. Thank you to the community and my beautiful friends and family for your kind messages of help and support. It means the world! It may take some time to get back on our feet but we will work hard in the background to get Sweet Three back up and running as soon as we can. More than anything we are so grateful that everyone is safe.
