Well, we didnt bring home a BOSCAR last night, but we are still SO proud of us!
To be named a finalist in not just one, but TWO categories is an achievement in itself!

Awards are lovely, but its not why we do what we do. We do it for the familiar faces that walk in every day, for the new faces, for the community that supports us and allows us to be part of their lives. And none of this would be possible without my amazing, hardworking, talented, dedicated, loyal, enthusiastic, warm hearted, resilient, occasionally ridiculous and absolutely irreplaceable team. We truly are more like family than a team because sometimes we fight like siblings 🤣 We are so proud of what Isabel's Place has become and so grateful to everyone who helped us get there.

Last night we had the privilege of sitting down with Onestep Max and hearing more about the message that he has brought to Forbes. He spoke about the importance of listening and although some people may struggle to speak, just being present can make all the difference. Sitting and talking may not always lead to a perfect solution, but it can certainly change the way we see things.

Max came to Forbes to spread his message, but we don't want it to end when he leaves.

We intend to keep it going.

Isabel's Place has always been a place where everyone is welcome. If you ever need someone to listen, there will be someone who wants to listen. If you're struggling and don't know where to turn, we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.
Sometimes, even just knowing somebody cares can make a difference.

We also have plans to continue putting signs around our little town, little reminders that might reach somebody on a day that they really need to see them.

You are important, You matter, Keep going ❤️

Our motto is “Where everybody knows your name, and we're always glad you came”, and last night, after speaking with Max, that feels more important than ever.

Thank you Max for coming to Forbes, starting conversations and reminding our community to look out for one another.
