We asked Will, Head of Coffee at Commonfolk, for his local recs. This is what he had to say.
is my second home in Frankston. Whether it's my Friday night knock off drink, or I'm in need of the best tacos in town from La Tortilleria Eatery — a business inside a business — and only their second site in Melbourne. Seriously, if you're a city slicker, head to their Kensington location. With at least 16 tap options available at any time and probably at least a million cans, there's really something for everyone. Plus I've heard their cocktail menu is also pretty elite.
Their team might as well be our team — in fact we do share some staff — but a special mention to Kurtis and Maggie for always making us welcome and giving us their recommendations. I suppose Ed the owner is alright too...
We have no direct connection to , per se, but we love it. Big fan of their Pinot, but honestly, the whole place just hits different. It is one of those places that reminds you wine is supposed to be fun. No fuss, no weird gatekeeping, just really bloody good organic wine in one of the nicest settings on the Peninsula.
