Opened 20 year ago, with the original ideals of offering somewhere healthy to eat, Vegie Bar's basic ideals have remained-food for the body, mind and soul. Today Vegie Bar continues to flourish offering tasty food that's healthy and affordable in a fun and relaxed environment. Not limited to the vegetarian, the popular eating house and bar entices a wide mix of people and has become an iconic destination in Melbourne. The food and drinks menu offers a huge variety of freshly prepared, dishes from all corners of the globe. Wherever possible organic and bio-dynamic ingredients are used .This reflects another belief-that the food should not be over-worked and should have minimal human involvement throughout the preparation and cooking stages, resulting in rustic, home-style cooking.

Three new dishes have landed at Vegie Bar for a limited time only.

🍕 **Babaganoush Pizza**
Creamy eggplant, crumbled falafel, tahini, red onion and fresh mint.

🍝 **Rasta Pasta**
Fusilli tossed in a rich, creamy silken tofu and roasted capsicum sauce, finished with sautéed capsicum and fresh parsley.

🥣 **Chickpea & Tofu Soup**
A hearty bowl of chickpeas and tofu simmered with tomato, carrot, rosemary and vegetable stock.

They’re here now. How long for? That’s another story.
