Happy Father’s Day to the dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures in our community.
And a special one to a few of the dads in our own team, who have spent a lot of Father’s Days making sure everyone else gets their coffee, breakfast and pastries.
To everyone spending part of today with us, thank you for letting us be part of your Father’s Day.

It’s been a pretty rough few weeks around here. There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes. Sick parents, an injured chef, and some unexpected circumstances that have made things financially very tight.

It’s easy to get stuck in the worry. To keep looking at what’s going wrong and forget to look around at what’s still good. So, this is us trying to do that. Tina and I feel incredibly lucky to have this place, this crew and this community. We’re lucky to have loving family around us, and lucky that we get to come to work every day and share Stagger Lee’s with you.

We’re also incredibly grateful to have our friend and founder, Mun, in our lives. We’re thinking of you, Mun, and sending you all our love. We’re not pretending everything is easy. But we’re choosing to focus on the light, rather than sit in the dark.

Thanks for sticking with us, supporting us and making this place what it is. We’re very grateful.

UPDATE: Hello everyone! We’ve had an unexpected issue in the kitchen today, so we’re temporarily closed for hot food while we complete a full gas and safety inspection.

Until then, we’re open as usual for coffee, sandwiches and pastries only. We’re hoping to be back to full service by Monday, pending tomorrow’s safety report.
