The best chips in Adelaide?!

I’m proud to finally say I think we’ve got the best chips out of any cafe in Adelaide, and I’m proud to say it because we’ve been working on them for four years now.. a lot of trial and error and plenty of taste testing has gone into it!

You tell us, do you like the new style fried in beef tallow? We love it, it reminds us of chicken and chip shops when we were a kid, that distinct flavour, you’ll know it when you try them!

EGGS OF THE WORLD 🌎
EDITION 01 — COLOMBIA 🇨🇴

During the World Cup we thought it would be a good idea to create a new series of specials called the ‘Eggs of the World’, taking inspiration from how our favourite food is eaten all around the world.

Our first stop was always going to be Colombia with our very own Colombian chef David the driving force behind the series!

With the devastating earthquake that has struck Colombia this week, it feels strange to introduce this special without acknowledging what the country is currently going through and our thoughts are with everyone affected, their families and communities.

The dish consists of the following:
Creamy Colombian-style scrambled eggs with tomato
and spring onion sofrito, served on toasted sourdough
with caramelised sweet plantain, fresh avocado and coriander!

We took some time off of social media…

Barista, book keeper, accountant, social media, cleaner, cook, baker, the list goes on for a small business owner, and that’s before we even talk about home life!

We decided to take a break, by choice and then not by choice, but we’re back and ready to go! We’ve got so many new things to share!

Here it is! The finished face lift of our cafe building! What do you think?! We’re super happy with the way this face lift has turned out! It’s really given us a direction to head in for our cafe and branding over all! We’re so excited to get started on refreshing other elements in the cafe too! This has put such a smile on our faces coming to work every day - it feels like a whole new energy around the place, it’s becoming something I am super proud of and we are only getting started in this new era of Ninety Four West! A little sneak peak of the paint works we’ve done as a part of the face lift for the cafe! This is something I’ve envisioned for over 5 years - even though the original design was a little different - thank goodness I didn’t go with the original 🤣 follow along for the final reveal!

Part 1 of the cafe face lift - rendering over those ugly white tiles that have plagued the shop since we’ve been here! I’ve been thinking about this change since the day I started at the cafe. It was a pipe dream for a long time.
Then after a conversation six weeks ago, the project became a reality!
I can’t thank enough my father and brother in laws from ICON TILING • est. 1990 for getting this project up and running! Without them this wouldn’t be possible!

Also many thanks to City of Charles Sturt council for giving us the support to get this up and moving!
