Our The Coffee House at Mountain Gate Shark of the Week is Jordan Dunstone ⭐️

Jordy is pushing hard for #1 all rounder status at Johnson Park after his performance against Aura Vale on the weekend.

With the bat, he struck a brutal 85 (78), including 7 fours, 6 sixes and two lost white Kookaburras.
He then claimed 3/31 to help complete a 93 run win for the 1st XI, their first of the season!

Well done Jordy!

No play on Saturday but our Vets sides got their seasons underway on Sunday, and there was some great personal performances.

Our The Coffee House at Mountain Gate Shark of the Week is Matthew Sim!!

We asked the skipper to provide a report on Big Red’s performance and here is what he had to say 😂

“3 wickets for Big Red with some rank balls it must be said. Eagle eyed at slip spotting carts drop a tough chance. Dropped one himself off PG after a less than graceful full length dive to his right. 7/10”

☕️ COFFEE HOUSE SHARK OF THE WEEK ☕️

Our The Coffee House at Mountain Gate Shark of the Week for Round 2 is Mitch Crosby!! ⭐️

Coming in with the 2nd XI in a spot of bother early at 2/6, Mitch played a fantastic counter attacking innings to help get the Sharks back into a competitive position.
Croz’s innings featured some brutal blows which he has become known for, with 4x4s and 3 big 6s in his knock of 50.
In the field, he also took a wicket and 3 excellent catches!

Well done Mitch!!

Despite the abandoned games on Saturday, there was still some great performances before the rain came.
Our first Shark of the Week for 2024/25 is Lucan Negro!
Batting at first drop in the 3rd XI’s opening game against Upper FTG, Lucan worked his way to an unbeaten 37 (56) - including 5 maximums - before rain stopped what was promising to be a big innings.
Still playing in our under 16s, Lucan is following on from a strong finish to the 23/24 season and we have a feeling this is going to be a big year for him!
