Saturday 26th. One last sale of cafe goods, outdoor cafe tables, kitchen equipment and still lots of glassware. We also have 2 chest freezers to move, 2 juice machines and even pot plants. Drop in for a browse and a bacon and egg roll or one of our burgers. Coffees happening as well. 9-1pm

The sun setting on a brilliant day at the cafe. Thanks to my staff for handling a bumper number of customers that came in to wish us well for the future and especially my kitchen crew who ran without our usual head of kitchen.

In light of yesterdays post we have decided to regroup and assess our options and will be closing this Thursday and Friday to meet with our accountant and our suppliers. We will be open as usual Saturday and Sunday.
I have an amazing group of front of house and kitchen staff who will need to be seeking new employment if any local businesses are looking to recruit. I am incredibly sad that they are in this position after being so hardworking and loyal. Working alongside these amazing young people is one of the things I will miss the most.

For the last 3 years my brilliant team and I have been serving you up quality coffees & lovingly made meals. Not to mention hosting weddings, christenings, birthday parties and wakes.
As of the end of August we will no longer be trading from the beautiful grounds of the gallery.
It is with great heartbreak that we have to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control we will not be renewing our lease. Covid and sky rocketing costs have been a financial challenge for the whole 3 years but we were looking forward to a brighter future and hoped to be doing what we do for a lot longer.
Our last days of trade will be the end of August.
We will be retaining the name Lindsay’s cafe but as of yet we are not sure what direction or location we will take. We promise to keep our loyal customers updated as soon as we reassess.
We would absolutely love it if any quests or previous owners could comment below with with their favourite Lindsay’s memories to share in the coming weeks.
It has been our honour to serve you and and we would love to look back on the memories that we have made together.
