Which is great, cos after jumping on the scales at work, I was bowled 🎳 over backwards by my increased kgs over 2 or so months driving home eating pies & soda's 👎

Day off = apparently maintenance day. 😂

Running a café has me making coffees, pouring beers, making food, ordering stock, cleaning, fixing s**t, smiling at customers and generally pretending I know exactly what I’m doing.

So today… I’m doing NOTHING useful.

Face mask on. Eye thingies on. Feet up. Self-care activated.

I may look like I’m awaiting alien abduction, but underneath all this, I’m going to emerge looking at LEAST 3 days younger. 🤣

Sometimes you’ve just gotta look after the person who’s been looking after everything else. ❤️

The life of a café owner… ☕️😂

You start the day thinking, “Today I’m going to get SO much done.”

Then the coffee machine has an attitude, someone wants something you sold out of yesterday, a delivery goes missing, the fridge makes a noise you’ve never heard before, you’ve somehow walked 14 kilometres without leaving the building, and you realise at 3pm that the only thing YOU’VE eaten is half a toasted sandwich you made by mistake. 🤦‍♀️

Then someone walks in, has a laugh, loves what you’ve made and tells you they’ll be back.
And suddenly you think…
Yep. This is bloody chaos. But it’s MY bloody chaos. ❤️☕️

Gotta keep looking my best… because apparently running a café, serving beers, making coffees, chasing stock, surviving airport chaos and pretending I know what I’m doing isn’t enough. 🤣

So today’s little bit of maintenance courtesy of Relax & Revive 💅

Fresh nails. Fresh lashes. Slightly less feral. 😂
Because some days self-care isn’t candles and meditation… it’s getting your lashes done, choosing a ridiculously bright nail colour and walking out feeling a little more like yourself again.
