Ten years ago, it was just Mum and I standing behind the counter, staring at the front door and waiting—hoping—for those very first orders to roll in.
We didn’t come from a background of running cafes. What we did have was a family legacy built in local fruit shops, where hard work, early mornings, and treating people like family were second nature. We might not have known all the fine details of the industry back then, but we knew two things inside out: unconditional customer service and true generosity. We believed that if you poured your heart into what you served and treated every single person who walked in like a guest in our own home, the rest would take care of itself.
And slowly, bit by bit, it did. One cup of coffee, one conversation, and one familiar face at a time, our humble little space began to grow. We hired our first staff members, eventually expanded the store, and watched a quiet dream turn into a bustling community home.
Looking back, the path was never a straight line. Over these ten years, we’ve navigated challenges none of us could have ever anticipated—from COVID lockdowns and stock shortages to inflation and uncertain times across the world. Yet through every single hurdle, this community lifted us up. You kept showing up, warm smiles ready, reminding us every day why we opened our doors in the first place.
None of this journey would be possible without our unbelievable staff, past and present. Their hustle, heart, and dedication are the real engine behind everything we do. To our team: you helped build this place into what it is today, and we are forever grateful for you.
As we count down to our official 10th Birthday, Mum and I simply want to say thank you. Loving and serving this community has been the privilege of a lifetime. We are so proud of how far we’ve come together, and as we look toward the future, we couldn’t be more excited for the next chapter. Here’s to ten years of memories—and to many more to come🥳🥳❤️❤️ We will be celebrating our offical 10 year birthday between Friday 25th - Sunday 27th 🥳🥳🎂🎂
