We thought it was about high time we introduced a Mexican dessert to our ever increasing food repertoire.
So here is our Mexican Churros, dipped in cinnamon sugar and served with whipped cream, fresh strawberry and of course a rich chocolate fudge sauce.
We reckon they go alright… Just ask Carlos the Cactus

Introducing Japxican’s Mexican Beef Burger.
Juicy house-made mild spiced Beef Patty (courtesy of Metcalf’s Quality Meats) with Chipotle Mayo, Slaw, Lettuce and Salsa on a toasted Brioche Bun. Try adding cheese and/or avocado… or make it spicy with some hot sauce and jalapeño. We reckon it goes alright… Just ask Carlos the Cactus! Available while stocks last.

A little rest and relaxation for the past week was well received by all the crew here at Japxican after a busy Christmas rush.
But now we are open again and looking forward to seeing all our people come back the through the doors for their Japxican menu favourites.
Loaded Fries (pictured) and Chimichangas and fat Big Burritos (try our authentic house made Hot Chili Sauce)… and of course fresh sushi made daily. Can’t wait to see you all! Ole!

Well… the long holiday period is done. We hope it was a fun, safe and restful one for all.
Now that all the kids are back at school and as we come into a quieter period of the year, the team at Japxican are taking a well earned week off for a bit of rest and recouping.
We will close for our regular weekly trading hours beginning Tuesday 11/2 and will reopen at the commencement of next week’s trading at 10:30am on Tuesday 18/2.

Our regular trading hours will be:
Tuesday - Saturday:
10:30am-2am / 5pm-7:30pm
Closed Sunday and Monday.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in 2025.

We’re open today Sunday! Not a usual thing but we’ve been trying out the Sundays through the holidays. So if you need a burrito or bento fix today we’re here for you. 10:30 - 2pm. Just the lunch service though. Not open for dinner.

It’s Taco Thursday at Japxican again! $6 tacos all day (except salmon). This is our Tempura Fish option. Or choose from Mexican Pork, Beef, Chicken or Beans. And the Karaage Chicken is always a hit too!
Also, try out our brand new house-made hot sauce.
$6 tacos not available online just yet, but will be sure to iron out the kinks and make that happen for you.
