Massive day at the Pioneer Valley Show. It is the largest one-day show in Australia, and the competition was tough this year with some really top-class exhibits on display.

We are absolutely wrapped to have walked away with some great wins.

​Here are the results:

- ​First prize for our Eungella Honey, and we are thrilled the judges loved how smooth and beautiful it is.

- ​First prize, second prize, and Champion Flower of the Show for cut flowers.

- ​Second prize for Sterling in the art section for his fantastic platypus artwork.

​Beyond the ribbons, it was a real pleasure working alongside the P&C again to sell food as a fundraiser for the Eungella Estate School.

​A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported the community, and made it such a memorable day. Pioneer Valley definitely lived up to its reputation as one of the best.

What a fantastic way to spend World Bee Day visiting the students at Eungella State School

​It was such a fun day sharing the buzz with the kids, though I’m pretty sure some of them already knew more about bees than we did! Their enthusiasm and knowledge made the visit truly special.

Our favourite little shop feels like stepping into a calm embrace, every corner so thoughtfully curated, every shelf holding something beautiful and meaningful. It’s the kind of place where you come searching for a Mother’s Day treasure, a sweet gift for a little one, and somehow always leave with something just for yourself too.

I’m grateful our honey finds a home here, among such intention and charm. Thank you for supporting local from the hum of the hives to the heart of this beautiful space. 🍯✨

Today we headed into the big smoke so Sterling could step into his role as the weather whiz kid

As he put it… it only took us 2 weeks — I mean 2 days — 2 minutes — to get to from Eungella to Mackay 😄

Such an incredible experience seeing it all firsthand. Scotty and Kaley are running a seriously impressive and technical operation at Star 101.9 Mackay so much going on behind the scenes.

We swapped the bee suits for fishing rods this weekend and headed out to Eungella Dam for the Indt Pty LTD World Sooty Grunter Competition 🎣🐝
Great spot, good laughs and a nice change of pace from the hives. Back to the bees tomorrow!

Today, we released our carrier homing pigeons in tribute to the brave men and women who have served and protected.

Long before modern communication, homing pigeons played a vital role in warfare. These remarkable birds carried life-saving messages across dangerous frontlines, often through gunfire and extreme conditions, helping coordinate troops, call for reinforcements, and ultimately save countless lives.

Their loyalty, resilience, and instinct to return home made them silent heroes in times of chaos.
Today, we pay particular respect to our own family members who risked everything through extreme adversity
