At the 11th hour, on the 11th day, of the 11th month, we pause—wherever we are—to remember.
In Eudunda, a town shaped by resilience and community, Remembrance Day holds deep significance. From the names engraved on our local war memorials to the stories preserved in the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery, we reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served in the Australian Defence Force—many of them from our own region.
Today, we honour their courage, mourn their loss, and acknowledge the enduring impact of their service. Whether in silence at home, at work, or in the classroom, we carry forward their legacy through remembrance and gratitude.
Let the red poppy remind us: freedom was never free.
Lest we forget.
