Belated Christmas ✨ post and getting in early for the new year 🥂

It’s been a whirlwind of a year and most of it feels like a blur. I’ve had lots of travel and some unplanned travel (and to my favourite cities in the world) , a promotion that came with a lot of hard work and I was up for the challenge. You don’t grow unless you are out of your comfort zone.

I’ve managed to continue my passion of baking on a lower scale which always fills my cup and will continue to be my creative outlet from my professional career.

The year ended not quite as planned with a burst water main outside our property and unfortunately flooding the bottom story of our house. Appreciate it’s at the lower end of the carriage scale when thinking about all the other things that have gone on across the world this year 😔. In the end I was able to fulfill all my Christmas orders and I’m very grateful for that. Not only could I contribute to your Christmas dessert table but I was able to fill my cup knowing how much you all enjoyed my creations.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your continued support of my little side hustle and coming back for more.

I loved creating this custom cake over the weekend for a special 50th birthday celebration 💜 🥂

Chocolate sour cream sponge layered with whipped cream frosting and a dark chocolate ganache drip, standing three layers high she was a beauty!

This cake was decorated with fresh strawberries, edible flowers and fresh Singapore orchids 💜 Penny had purple orchids at her 21st so the addition of these blooms for her 50th was extra special ✨
