Spring is here, with a touch of Winter hanging in there 🌧️ Can you believe it’s September already? 😵‍💫

The week is well & truly done, and what a cracker of a Friday night last night, kicking off the first Friday night meat tray raffle for Spring 🥩

Spring means fire restrictions are on the horizon, and we all know they will be upon us quickly.

Being in a bushfire area, it’s important that we start thinking about what being ready looks like. Being a mate looks like making sure your mates have a plan - for themselves, their family, and any animals 🏡

So we’re getting FIRED UP for September and getting in early to spark conversations about getting ready for Summer 🔥

For September, that looks like raising awareness and raising funds as a community through our meat tray raffles and this month's Fired Up Parma, all in support of our local Erica & District Fire Brigade volunteers 🚒

We can’t wait to wrap up the month with you at our 3rd Erica Pub Trivia night - Spring edition! Register early to secure your table 🙋

Howdy y'all, happy Sunday. 🤠

The mountain's gone quiet after the end of the snow season, but the tunes are just getting started down here.

Harping On is back with their musical magic 🎸🎙️ taking the stage from 2pm for Sunday Sippers. We'd love to say g'day as you catch up with ya mates while making an arvo of it.

Our team work hard, no doubt about it, and we do our best to make the pub a place where every generation finds good food, genuine connection, and a reason to come back 🤗

Happy Friday, legends!

The week's done and the bar is open, so come on down and make the most of it 😎

Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort shut the lifts for the season this week, so if you missed your last run, there's always next year. The cold snap hasn't read the memo though, it's still jumper weather here in Erica, but the mild days are ahead of us with mid-teens forecast for the weekend ⛅️

We're looking forward to catching the OCKA group during their Rawson Winter 2026 Invitational this weekend, and the bistro is filling up quickly for the weekend ahead. As always, be sure to book ahead to avoid disappointment 📞 5165 3252

Well, that’s about it for the snow this year, and what a wild couple of weeks it’s been here at the pub.

Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort had its toughest season since the early 80’s, some 40+ years ago. Rough going for everyone who was hoping for a big winter up there ❄️

They’re wrapping up the season with a Bollywood weekend before the lifts close tomorrow. Check their socials and website for the deets.

Back here at the pub, we’ve got Sunday Sippers this arvo with Matt-Peter Fry live from 2pm till 6pm 🎤 and check out our Pulled Mexic’n burger 🍔 on the specials board today!

The weekend is well and truly underway on what has been a beautiful Saturday here in Erica 🌤️

If the snow's calling ya, the mountain is in good nick. Mt Baw Baw is holding a 32cm base with four lifts running and the Toboggan Park open.
Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort or Mt St Gw**ear, which is your go-to?�Whichever way you point the car, carry your chains and take it easy on the alpine roads 🏔️

Back by popular demand, our slow-cooked Beef Ragu is on the special board again this weekend 🍝�Available, until it’s not 🕺🏼

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, our house-made Apple & Rhubarb pies have made a comeback on the specials board, until they’re gone 🥧

Tomorrow arvo, Peter Morrison - Solo Acoustic & DJ takes the stage from 2pm for Sunday Sippers 🎸 come and settle in for the afternoon with a bevy and some tunes.

The cold has really set in up here in the Mountain Rivers region, with overnight temps down at 0 🥶 and some crackin’ days forecast for the weekend 🌞

Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort reports average snow at 28cm on the runs suggests it’s sure to be a great day up the mountain 🏂
Mt St Gw**ear is showing some nice coverage as well, with Alfies Fast Food giving us an on-the-mountain report this morning of 15cm of snow at car park with around 20-25cm on the summit at 1509m ☃️

If you’re headed for either mountain this weekend, don’t forget to call into Erica Ski Hire for all your snow needs - chains, toboggans, skis, goggles, gloves, boots … and more!

And when you're done on the hill, roll in to warm up with a hot feed and a cold one - our Hot Rock Experience does the trick 🔥
