We strive to source high quality specialty coffee that is traceable back to the farm and producers. We roast in small batch lots to bring out the best flavour characteristics of each coffee, paying respect to the producers and their efforts at origin. Craftwork Roasting is looking for a full time assistant baker who shares our excitement and passion for pastry and sourdough bread to join our team!

Our focus is on viennoiserie, natural leavened loaves, baked goods and fresh milled grains, sourcing organic and local ingredients where possible with a commitment to producing high quality products with flavour - Real Food. The successful applicant will have respect for ingredients and machinery, take pride in learning and perfecting the art of dough and viennoiserie shaping, be consistent, efficient and reliable.

Our amazing team at Craftwork Roasting Co. is taking a well-deserved break for the holidays!
Our last day of trade is Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025, and we’ll be back on Wednesday January 7th, 2026.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time front of house team member to join our friendly crew!

This role would suit someone who is interested in coffee & baked goods. Experience in hospitality would be an advantage but is not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.

In this role you’ll be at the heart of our customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:

- Taking orders & cash handling
- Packing food & coffee items
- Running coffee & food items
- Clearing tables & washing dishes
- Opening & closing the shop
- General cleaning duties

We’re searching for someone who excels in:

- Customer service
- Communication & Teamwork
- Attention to detail
- Multitasking & Problem Solving
- Organization Skills
- Initiative & Adaptability

Please note this is a part time role and availability on Sundays is essential.

Our latest Limited Release Filter Coffee is: Danche Red Honey from Yirgacheffe in Southern Ethiopia.

Handpicked ripe cherries are delivered to the Danche washing station. Beans are selected by measuring the percentage of sugar using a refractometer. After the beans are fermented for 48 hours, the fresh cherry is de-pulped to remove the outer skin leaving most of the mucilage to dry on the beans, leading to a fuller-bodied coffee. It is processed under more shade to slow the drying time to the red honey results. The de-pulped cherry is laid to dry on raised African beds. The beans are turned frequently to ensure steady drying until its moisture content reaches 11.5% in 14-18 days.

This coffee was processed using the honey process which adds more complexity, with a fuller, creamier mouthfeel and sweetness, along with
the clarity and flavour of the washed process.
