A room full of Family Day Care leaders and educators, showing up for each other, sharing things they'd never normally say out loud, and walking away with people they can genuinely call on.

This is why I do this work.

This is part of my Rainbow Bridge Family Day Care team.
This conference was birthed to primarily support then, but somehow became so much bigger.

Day two of Dream Lead Play 2026 and my heart is still so full. ๐Ÿ’›

Every speaker on Educators Day was chosen so intentionally, for exactly what they could add to a Family Day Care business.

The gorgeous Emma Rattenbury took us through programming and documentation, and how to reframe it into something that actually works for you.

Nicole gave us the most incredible examples, videos and real scenarios on play, and how educators can deeply connect with children by letting them lead, rather than leading them.

Maree showed us how to tell families what they need to hear, in a way that stays true to your own values and strengths, so you attract families who are genuinely aligned with you, with a documented process to back it up.

And Sammi Jaeger reminded every single one of us how important it is to fuel your own tank first, and took us on that journey of rediscovering ourselves.

Each speaker touched on something unique, and it spoke so beautifully to every educator in that room.

Honestly, the energy was electric. Watching people who'd only ever known each other online finally meet and connect in person was one of my favourite parts of the whole day. And don't even get me started on the food. Absolutely outstanding.

Day one of Dream Lead Play 2026 was every bit as incredible as I hoped it would be. ๐ŸŒŸ
We had four absolutely wonderful speakers share their stories with our Leaders Day group, and every single one of them was so relevant to service providers and leaders in Family Day Care.

Because it was such an intimate group, so much was shared that probably wouldn't have come out in a bigger, more anonymous room. The honesty in that room was next level.

Everyone who attended walked away with incredible takeaways, but more than that, they walked away as friends. As colleagues. As people they can now call on when things get tough, so they never have to feel alone in this profession again.

Here's just a little snippet of how day one went!
