MONDAY STAFF MEETING

Say hello to Jayne, one of our fantastic kitchen hands who also steps up as a cook here in the kitchen.

Jayne plays an important role behind the scenes, helping keep our kitchen running smoothly and ensuring every meal is prepared with care. Whether she's assisting the team or cooking up meals for the rafters, her willingness to lend a hand wherever needed makes her a valued member of our crew.

When she's not hard at work, you'll often find her enjoying the pub as one of Ari's favourite regulars and sharing plenty of laughs at the girls' table. 💓

Welcome to the El Arish Tavern... where strangers don’t stay strangers for long!

These legends walked through the front door earlier this week thinking they were just grabbing a drink... next minute they’ve got a tavern full of locals and of course a few had to start singing to them!

That’s the beauty of country pubs. You never know what’s waiting on the other side of the door, but one thing’s for sure... you’ll always be made to feel welcome.

It’s Only a Scratch - Sh*tbox Rally called into the El Arish Tavern last night before kicking off their epic journey from Port Douglas all the way to Melbourne, starting tomorrow!

Before hitting the road, they fuelled up with a feed. Tackling one of our famous smoked crocodiles, and got ready for the adventure ahead.

The best part? These legends have already raised **over $15,000** for the Cancer Council... and they haven't even turned a wheel yet!

Southbound before NORTHBOUND... HERE WE COME!

The countdown is on for when we hit the road, as we race to Brisbane and then turn around and make an adventure out of it… catch is we’ve only got 3 days to get home, so we need your help!

Tell us:

What a night at the El Arish Tavern! 🏉 🦀

Not only was yesterday the decider of the State of Origin, but we also welcomed a fantastic bunch of travellers and campers who all came together for a great night.

We were even a guest on our very first podcast, with the hosts and legends from they even recorded their first-ever live podcasts with right here in our beer garden. It was a ripper afternoon filled with plenty of laughs and great stories.

As if that wasn’t enough, the incredibly talented Claudette grabbed the microphone and treated everyone to a few songs before kick-off, setting the perfect atmosphere for the big game.

To everyone who joined us, stayed the night, shared a drink, had a feed and helped make it such a memorable evening—thank you. It’s nights like these that remind us what country pubs are all about.

We can’t wait to see you all again soon.
