Long weekend game plan ❤️💙🏉

It's been a long 25 years since the Knights have made it to the Grand Final. So let's be so serious...this game needs a proper build-up 💪

FRIDAY: TRAINING NIGHT
Ease into it with a light session.
🍷 Happy Hour, 3:30–5:30pm: house w**e for $6 or a schooner of domestic tap b**r for $6.50
🃏 Joker Draw: tickets from 5pm with any b**r, draw at 7pm
🍹 Slushy Cocktail Happy Hour, 6–8pm, for hydration purposes
🎤 Karaoke from 8:30pm, with prizes up for grabs. This weekend definitely calls for some Screaming Jets or Silverchair as part of the warm-up program.

SATURDAY: CAPTAIN'S RUN
Stretch the legs and lift the intensity.
🍺 Super Saturday, 2–5pm: pints for schooner prices
🎟️ Raffles drawn at 7pm
🎸 The V-Dubs run on from 8:30pm to keep the red and blue party rolling.

SUNDAY: THE BIG DANCE
Twenty-five years in the making, and it's finally here. Ponga and the boys are one win away from bringing the trophy home to Newcastle, and the NRL Grand Final is live on screens right across the pub. Dig out the jersey, jog it in, and pick your spot early. If we're lucky, this one becomes a core memory for the whole Hunter.

The brasserie is open all weekend to keep the squad fuelled. Book ahead to avoid disappointment, because nobody wants to be left warming the bench.

Plot twist of the decade: the Knights are in the Grand Final. Core memory incoming. ❤️💙

It's been 25 years since Newcastle last got their hands on the trophy, and this side has well and truly understood the assignment. Ponga and the boys have one job left, and the Hunter's got their back.

The HRH is ready for the big one:

October's live music lineup has entered the chat 🎶

🎸 Kicking off with long weekend vibes from the V-Dubs on Saturday 3 October.

🏉 Then it's Grand Final day on Sunday 4 October, and while the NRL didn't manage to secure any pre-game entertainment, we've got you covered. John Wilson Country is playing from 1pm, so you'll be nice and warmed up well before kick-off.

🎶 The Rebecca Johnson Band plays mid-month, and The Perpetrators close out October on the 31st. Check out the full lineup above, and lock in your weekends.

Cup Day is basically a work function now — someone had to say it.

Get the office out of the building and into something a bit more fun this Cup day – sparkling w**e on arrival, Fashions On The Field to sort out who actually made an effort, and a Flower Wall standing by for the team photo that's going straight on LinkedIn. Throw a few dollars in the Sweeps, settle in for the race, and keep the good times rolling with cocktail specials all day.

It's the easiest "team bonding" you'll ever organise. Last year sold out, so get the crew booked in before HR finds out.
