Di Palma’s was first established in 1988 in Hawthorn, where it was one of the first restaurants in Melbourne to serve gourmet wood fired pizzas and has earned its reputation on them. Even from the early days, we have always used the freshest ingredients and provided excellent service to our patrons. The homely and cosmopolitan ambience and varied menu selections has been our hallmark. In 2000, we

moved to 686-690 High Street, East Kew to our newly renovated premises. Since then the restaurant has become better and busier than ever. Since our inception, we were popular with patrons because we provided them a memorable yet affordable dining experience, our popularity has gone from strength to strength. Our restaurants cater for people from all walks of life and tastes, and they keep coming back, so we know we’re doing something right. Di Palma’s success as a local icon comes down to providing patrons with quality and variety. As proprietor John Di Palma says, ”Our success comes from the fact that our menu and service caters for a broad spectrum, from families to corporate lunch & dinners and people of all ages and demographics. We strive to create a city dining experience in a suburban environment.”

As we have evolved, we have tailored our offerings to meet the needs of our clientele.
