A New Chapter for GP Continental 🤍☕️

We know how much Steven and Daniel have meant to GP Continental and to this wonderful local community. Over the years, they have built not only a café, but a place filled with familiar faces, friendships and many special memories.

Taking over a business that is so loved by the community is honestly a big challenge for us, but it is also something we are very excited about. We believe we can continue what has been built here, while also working hard to make GP Continental even better for everyone.

Our first week has been a very busy one as we learn, adjust and work through the handover process. There may have been a few things that weren’t quite perfect, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we settle in. 🤍

We’re also happy to share a few updates:

☕ GP Continental is now OPEN ON SUNDAYS!

🚗 Uber Eats and DoorDash are now up and running again

🌐 Online ordering through our website is still experiencing some technical issues, but we are working on it and hope to have it back up and running as soon as possible.

📞 In the meantime, phone orders are still available as usual.

We’re very grateful to everyone who has already stopped by, said hello, supported us and given us feedback during our first week.

We look forward to getting to know more of you and continuing to make GP Continental a place where everyone feels welcome.

During this transition, online ordering through our website gpcontinental.com.au, as well as Uber Eats and DoorDash, may be temporarily unavailable.

Phone orders are still available as normal, so please feel free to call us to place your order.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

We are working to have all online ordering services back up and running as soon as possible.

After four and a half years, the time has come for us to say goodbye to GP Continental.
It’s hard to put into words what this place, and this community, have meant to us. What started as a café became such a big part of our lives, and that’s entirely because of the people who’ve walked through our doors over the years.
Thank you to everyone who stopped in for a coffee, shared a meal with family and friends, supported us through the ups and downs, and made GP Continental feel like more than just a business.
A special thank you to our incredible staff and suppliers, past and present. Your hard work, loyalty and support have played a huge part in making GP Continental what it is, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
We’re leaving with so many great memories, lifelong friendships and a genuine appreciation for the support we’ve received from this community. For that, we’ll always be grateful.
While our time here is coming to an end, this doesn’t feel like goodbye. We’re excited to see GP Continental continue with its new owners and can’t wait to watch the next chapter unfold.
