Celebrating 25 Years of Specialty Coffee Roasting in Central Victoria

Founded in 2001 in the Bendigo CBD by Scott and Meryl MacLeod, Custom Coffees began with a simple vision: to roast exceptional specialty coffee in regional Victoria. As the first coffee roaster operating outside Melbourne in the region, early success quickly led to a move to Mayfair Park, Bendigo’s dedicated food-processing precinct.

Twenty-five years on, Custom Coffees remains committed to the precise sourcing, roasting, and quality standards that have established us as a nationally recognised, multi-award-winning specialty coffee roaster. Our journey has been shaped by the dedication and professionalism of our team—past and present—whose passion continues to define everything we do.

Most importantly, we thank you—our loyal coffee community, both domestic and commercial—for your support over the past quarter century. Here’s to the next 25 years of exceptional coffee together.

Consistently excellent
This decaf is so good my customers think I am serving them normal coffee, I have to explain that it is definitely decaf, the difference is (unlike most decafs) this tastes just like good coffee! I recommend this product. 🥰
