Why Protein Coffee? 🤎💪🏽☕️

People have been asking why I added Protein Coffee to our menu.

The truth is… it was created for people like me.

As a mum, business owner, gym goer, and someone committed to serving in ministry and our community, life can get busy. Some days I’m leaving home before the sun comes up and not slowing down until late at night.

Our new Protein Coffee has become my go-to because it gives me the coffee I love with the added benefit of 30g of protein to help keep me fuelled throughout the day.

It’s not a replacement for healthy meals—I’m definitely not a nutritionist—but on those busy mornings when life is moving fast, it’s been a simple way to get some extra protein in while enjoying my morning coffee.

If you’re always on the go, juggling work, family, training or simply looking for a delicious iced coffee with a little more substance, this one’s for you.

One of the greatest responsibilities God has entrusted to me isn’t building a business—it’s raising my children.

I know Lauryn is always watching. She sees the early mornings, the hard work, the prayers before the doors open, the way we treat people, the importance of serving our community, and the faith that carries us through every season.

My prayer isn’t that she follows in my footsteps, but that she follows Christ.

If, along the way, she learns the value of integrity, kindness, hard work, generosity, and serving others, then I know I’m pointing her in the right direction.

Every coffee served, every conversation shared, and every challenge faced is an opportunity to teach her that our work is worship when it’s done for God’s glory.

The greatest legacy I can leave my children isn’t a successful business—it’s a life that reflects Jesus.

First a Mum. Second a Business Owner. ❤️☕️

Before the coffee, before the early mornings, before the events and the long days… I’m a mum.

Everything I build through AUTE D’Lights & Coffee starts with my family.
My daughter is my greatest reminder of why I keep showing up, why I keep dreaming, and why I keep trusting God through every season.

There are days where the juggle is real.
School drop-offs, coffee orders, meetings, events, homework, and everything in between.
It’s not always easy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Building this business has never just been about serving great coffee. It’s about building a legacy, showing my children what faith, hard work, resilience and serving others looks like.

My children are my reason.

To every parent chasing a dream while raising little ones—you are doing better than you think.

One of the things I’m most grateful for this school holidays is having a space where my little girl can come, play, and spend time with her mummy while I serve our community at the coffee spot. 🥹❤️

As a mum and a small business owner, moments like these mean more than I can put into words.

I’m so thankful for a community that allows me to build a business while still being present for my family. 🙏🏽

Looking ahead, I’m praying and planning to launch an AUTE School Holiday Programme in this space by the next school holidays - a place where children can connect, create, learn, and have fun while families enjoy great coffee and community.

It’s still very much a work in progress, but every great vision starts with a single step.

A huge thank you to Henry and the incredible team at for allowing to serve at your 6-Week Challenge Info Night. ☕️💪🏽

The turnout was absolutely 🔥🔥 and it was truly humbling to witness the support surrounding this wonderful family and the positive impact they are making within the community.

There was such an uplifting atmosphere, filled with encouragement, connection, and people committed to becoming the best version of themselves.

We are grateful to have played a small part in the evening by serving coffee, sharing conversations, and connecting with so many amazing people and vendors.

May God continue to bless Henry, his team, and every person embarking on this journey.

We pray for strength, discipline, good health, and success in the weeks ahead. 🙏🏽
