From one exceptional block, planted in 1998, our Wayfinder Syrah is a wine of depth, detail and quiet confidence.

Hand-harvested and gently handled, the fruit was cold-soaked for colour and supple tannin, then fermented in open-top vessels before being gravity-drained to seasoned French oak.

After 10 months in barrel and extended time in bottle, the result is a Syrah with poise, texture and a distinct sense of place.

Just like the vines, the bees shift into a quieter rhythm as winter sets in. They don’t hibernate, but their activity slows right down. Instead of moving through the farm and vineyard, the colony stays close inside the hive, clustering together to maintain warmth and relying on stored honey for energy.
