🇬🇧 Get ready for a smashing good time at The Pig & Whistle's Great British Weekend! We have a massive lineup of stationed and roving entertainment to keep both the kids and adults busy all day.

Featuring live music from Paul Dillon and Ron Vincent (Cat Stevens), a 3-piece marching band, the St Andrews Beach Choir, and a DJ spinning British classics! There is truly something for everyone with hoop and juggling, a circus workshop, stilts, giant bubbles, old-time war dance lessons, product presentations, and a chance to meet Highland cows and British bulldogs. Pair the fun with our incredible British food, drink, and market stalls! We’ll be pouring Tetley's, Kilkenny, Guinness, Devil Bend, Main Ridge C***r, and Bass and Flinders Gin and more!!!.

Purchase premium goods from Pacdon Park Butcher, indulge in high tea, and grab some toffee apples, enjoy fish n chips, curries, ploughman's boards and more! . Plus, there will be face painting, vintage cars, and retro sports to complete the ultimate British celebration!

We’re very excited to have Basket Case joining us at The Great British Weekend on the 25th of October at The Pig & Whistle.

If you’re the sort of person who believes a good meal can always use a little extra flavour, you’ll definitely want to swing by their stall. From gourmet sauces and relishes to glazes, marinades, salad dressings, salts and flavour rubs, Basketcase has got your kitchen cupboards covered.

Whether you’re firing up the BBQ, dunking your chips, jazzing up a roast, dressing a salad or simply looking for something to take your next meal from “pretty good” to “bloody hell, that’s good” there’ll be plenty to discover.

It’s shaping up to be a brilliant day out for the whole family, featuring classic vintage cars, adorable highland cows, and British bulldogs. You can enjoy a traditional high tea with freshly baked scones, lawn games, pop culture displays, face painting for the kids, roving entertainment, and plenty of live music to keep the atmosphere buzzing.

The fun continues all season long. Gather your smartest friends to battle it out at our regular Trivia Nights, and kick back with fantastic live music sessions lighting up the Shed Theatre week after week.
