🥩 FRIDAY NIGHT MEGA MEAT RAFFLE – SUPPORTING THE DIMBOOLA CWA 💙

Throughout September, our Friday Night Mega Meat Raffle will be raising funds for the wonderful Dimboola CWA.

The contribution these incredible women make to our community is ongoing and invaluable — whether it’s providing food and conversatio, lending a hand at local events, supporting families and community groups, fundraising, or simply being there when help is needed.

So this September, grab yourself a raffle ticket (or a few!), have a crack at taking home a mega meat tray, and help us give a little something back to a group of women who give so much to our community.

Here’s to the CWA — country women making a difference, one cuppa, cake and helping hand at a time. ❤️

Mrs Mary McDonald was the wife of Ben McDonald, the first licensee of The Victoria Hotel Dimboola. Following her husband’s death in 1917, Mary took over the licence herself, remaining at the helm of the hotel until 1943.

Today, she watches over the staircase, keeping a watchful eye on the generations of children who have played, climbed and gathered on these stairs—as they have done, almost as their given right, for the past 101 years.

A quiet guardian of the staircase, and a wonderful reminder of the strong women woven into the history of The Victoria Hotel.

What a beautiful little family business we’re so lucky to have right here in our own backyard. Such a unique experience and truly something a little bit special.

A little Tiny Goats & Co update ❤️

Things have been a little quiet around here lately.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about Tiny Goats and Co, what I want this little business to look like going forward, what matters most to me, and how to create something that works alongside my family and my own wellbeing, while still allowing me to share this beautiful little part of the world with others.

Over the past three years, Tiny Goats and Co has grown and changed a lot. And I think I have too.

What started with a whole lot of tiny goats has gradually become about something bigger. I’ve realised that what I love most is creating opportunities for people to step away from everyday life for a while, to spend time with animals, be outside, create, play, laugh, slow down, or simply enjoy being somewhere a little different.

Connection has become a really important word for me. Connection with animals and nature, with the people we love, and sometimes just with ourselves.

So while you’ll absolutely still see plenty of goats around here (and VERY soon hopefully lots of tiny new ones! 🥹🐐), you’ll also start to see some new things alongside the experiences you already know and love.

I’m working on some really exciting ideas for families, schools, adults and groups, with animals and nature still very much at the heart of it all.

I don’t have every detail figured out, and I think I’m finally okay with that. ❤️

For now, I’m looking forward to sharing a little more of farm life with you again.

And with babies due any day now, I have a feeling there’s going to be plenty to share. 🐐🐐🐐🐐❤️❤️❤️❤️
